HDB to a MAN

I just had a colleague that went with his bride-to-be to choose and buy a HDB flat. A next step in life I suppose. One that I have recently seen my sister, my many friends and now my work colleague go through. A step in life, so does HDB flat represent family? Does it define the first stage of manhood? A family? A manhood? I don't know...
My forgotten dream of marriage and family onces again comes to haunt me with this. My old forgotten and given up dream was re-awaken already three times this few months of 2005. I am starting to dream again of this, family and flat. Or am I just longing for companionship?
I don't know....
